    Is it possible that the ECU can cause an engine knocking mostly from a cold start, then taper off while it’s warming up ? Or if there is a knocking it will be there the whole time while the engine is running? Is it possible that just a portion of the programming could be off ?

    Kinda annoying the ecumaster pro doesn't just have usb interface and requires this additional module when running the datalogger

      The USB to CAN is only required for calibration, it does not have to stay in/with the vehicle. Logs are written directly to a USB flash drive. The USB to CAN is a great diagnostic tool for reverse engineering CAN messages, and allows you to connect to all ECUMaster CAN devices with a single connection, instead of having to use USB cables to connect to potentially 7 or 8 different modules separately.

      Hardware incompatibility. Simply, EMU Classic was originally launched when Bosch LSU 4.2 was the preferred wideband oxygen sensor of the performance automotive aftermarket and before widespread adoption of the LSU 4.9.

      Wiring instructions are included with the solenoid if purchased from ECUMaster USA. One wire will go to any available Auxiliary Out, the other to switched +12v source. The connections do not have polarity. 👍

    So for say a 2jz, shielded wire both cam,crank, knocks sensor, since all sensors aren't close together. Can I still tie in all their shield to one ground ring terminal? Or will I need to separate their shielded grounds?

      Yes. The sensor/analog ground can be spliced to as many sensors as necessary, same for +5v supply. If a pull-up resistor is required, each sensor should have an individual resistor for the pull-up between the +5Vref and signal wire.     does it matter what kind of oil pressure sensor is used for the ecu? I'm gonna use a 2 wire big sensor thing that is normaly used for a gauge. is the ecu down with that signal?

    Partially crimp in a ratcheting tool, tape the wire set so they dont slide individually (granted ur using a shielded set).. index finger and thrumb on 1 wire, middle and ring fingers holding the others, and press the crimper. Its BARELY more advanced. Also, if the shield is being terminated along with those wires, bend the shield back up, and place heat shrink tube again, then cut it ro the same length as the others.

    On Windows 10 the left side panel is very small width wise, it's like 50px wide and unusable. It doesn't seem like you can resize it...

    Have you had people to use them for a conversion from gas to electric and display everything about the car. The car I'm driving right now doesn't have a can-bus in it, the OBD port doesn,t provide that much info off of it. 97 Jetta GT.

      This is for the ecu side only, not for the chassis wiring side. We do have the CAN protocol for your dash cluster built into the software, just connect the two CAN wires and select your dash in the CAN setup menu.

    How do you set it up on a stock turbo 1jz, I have a j pipe with that factory waste gate and that flapper door. My tuner says I need to use the compressor and a line off intake vacuum. But I’m so confused cuz no one else has that setup??

      Neither one has trans control. It's coming soon for the EMU Pro. You can use any of a number of standalone trans controllers or leave the stock ecu in parallel to control the trans.
